Thursday 22nd July - Class Work

Hi Everyone,

I am out on an excursion with the Year 12 IT class today.

There are two things I would like you to complete today in our double period.

1. I have left you work to complete in our folder in S:Drive. Copy the Animal House folder to your M:Drive. In this folder you will find a powerpoint with some instructions and also some other folders containing images you might want to use. Once you have used these images you are free to find some of your own to get creative with a new design. To complete this task you will need to use the skills we learnt last week in cutting out images and working with layers.

2. Once you have completed one of these images, you need to save it as a jpeg and upload it to your Blog. When you are saving it in Photoshop click on File > Save for Web and Devices and save it as a jpeg image. This will bring the file size down so you can upload it to the blog.
Once you have uploaded it, you need to research what a jpeg image is and how they are used. You can use Google and Wikipedia to find out information about jpegs. Include your findings under the image you upload.
